I am pleased to announce the upcoming release of my new EP album Salted Limes, containing 5 new original songs. It will be released on all music distribution and streaming platforms on Friday, June 6, 2025.
The album features some of the Eastern Shore's most experienced musicians including Steve Lowe, Dave Moore, Gerry Devine, Chris Levey, Meg Murray, Joyce Gauthier and Mark Gadson.

Steve Lowe is one of the eastern shore’s most prolific singer-songwriters. He has been writing and performing original songs for over 30 years in the Annapolis, DC, Baltimore, and eastern shore areas. Since moving to Saint Michaels from the Annapolis area in 2021, he has released an EP album, three singles and is currently in the studio working on a second EP album to be released in early 2025. In 1993, he co-founded a group with fellow singer-songwriter Meg Murray called August West who recorded several albums and with whom he still collaborates and performs. While working with music producer, Mark Gadson, in recording his music starting in 2022, Steve decided to form an Americana band, Steve Lowe and The Lowe Downs to perform his music. In addition to his current works, Steve has written songs for movies and jingles. He continues to write songs and perform with Meg Murray, August West and Steve Lowe and The Lowe Downs. Each of the two nights has had a “featured artist.” The first week showcased Steve Lowe, who shared a number of songs from his soon-to-be released EP. One highlight was “Feels Like County,” about “life on the river, just taking it as it is.” Lowe, who often appears with his band (Steve Lowe and Lowe Downs), has a captivating voice and a powerful way of capturing a sense of place – whether that place is his childhood home of Florida (“White Sands/blue skies/everything’s alright/jump right in”) or the Eastern Shore.
